Blackpool Fylde and Wyre Society for the Deaf is a registered charity, committed to serving the interests of  deaf people.
The Society has been in existence since 1925 and opened Wynfield house in 1961 in order to specialise in the care of profoundly deaf elderly and infirm people.
We support people to follow personal interests and activities. Service users are independent as they can be, lead their chosen lifestyle and have the opportunity to make the most of their abilities.
